The time has come for photos to be collected and submitted for editing.
Over the coming weeks, I want to provide more behind the scenes footage. Even though this project is about the journey of grief, everything is not always somber in nature.
The road trip(s) with a photographer, videographer, and executive producer were always comical.
Missed appointments because of the weather, cancelled flights, impromptu slumber party at a participant’s home, and the tour of an old childhood home that provided comic relief thanks to the current occupants.
It’s been a wild ride with tears, laughter, good food, and conversation.
The photo that I’m featuring this week is the shift in the project. We were stuck in Buffalo, NY, and finally prepared to catch a flight home. A picture of me signing my passport. This particular weekend will be explained in detail in an upcoming clip for the documentary.
Listen. Even though we were stressed, this was definitely one of the best weekends of the filming process.
Thank you for taking this journey with us.
Any questions? I’m always here to answer.
Xoxo
RJ
P.S. The photography campaign is ongoing, and it’s never too late to participate.
